Volunteers and Interns not only play a central role in the day-to-day operations of Village Earth but also help in shaping its future. We recognize the important contributions of all members of our team and value their ideas and feedback. We also do our best to help them gain valuable skills and knowledge that will help in their careers and life through trainings, project site visits, and group meetings and discussions. We make every attempt to assign volunteers with the project, teams and tasks that match their skills, interests, and long-term goals. Volunteers and Interns typically work as part of a team which is given a great deal of autonomy to define its own goals and assign tasks to its members. Volunteers and Interns can work from remotely or at our offices at the CSU Foothills Campus but must be available for weekly video meetings and team meetings.

Interns: Typically work on an agreed-upon project for a specific amount of time (usually an academic semester) in exchange for either academic credit or pay.

Volunteers: Typically work on agreed-upon projects or tasks. Their commitment may be around the completion of a specific task(s) or projects or for specific agreed-upon period of time.
